- Take 200 gram green chana saag
- Prepare 2 medium size potato chopped

- Prepare 1 tsp cumin seed

Steps to make Green chana bhaji:
- Clean the chana saag and remove the stems
- Cut and peel potato into 1/2 inch dice
- In a heavy bottom pan, heat oil. Add cumin seed, asafoetida, saute ginger, garlic, green chilli, onion.
- Now add all dry spices except dry mango powder and garam masala.
- Saute for a minute.
- Then add potato, and chana saag. Mix it with all masala and cover with lid.
- Let it cook for 6 to 8 minute or untill the potatoes are done. Stir in between to avoid burn
- Now add chopped tomatoes, dry mango powder and garam masala cook for another 2 minute.
- Green chana bhaji are now ready to enjoy with chapati or paratha.
