  2. Prepare 1/4 cup red Masoor dal
  3. Take 1/4 cup Arhar dal

  3. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, oil and 1 cup water and then cook for 4 whistles.

  5. Add chopped garlic, ginger and then onion.
  6. Add chopped tomatoes, salt and garam masala.
  7. Cook on low flame till tomatoes become soft and then add cooked methi dal.
  8. Cook on high flame till it becomes dry.
