The ingredients needed to make Methi leaves Chana Dal Vada:
- Prepare 1 cup Chana Dal soaked
- Get 1 inch Ginger
- Get 2 green chilli
- Use 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Take 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- Prepare 1/2 cup fenugreek leaves chopped
- Take 1/2 tsp salt
- Provide 1 pinch Asafoetida
- Use as needed Oil for deep frying
Instructions to make Methi leaves Chana Dal Vada:
- In a bowl soak 1 cup chana dal for 2 hours.
- Drain off the water and rest for 20 mins. Or until the dal drains of water completely
- Transfer the Soaked and drained chana dal into mixi jar, Also add 1 inch Ginger, 2 chilli, 1 tsp fennel seeds and 1 tsp cumin.
- Then Blend to a coarse paste without adding any water. now Transfer the grinded chana dal mixture to a large mixing bowl.
- Next Add chopped coriander leaves, pinch of hing and salt according to taste,
