The ingredients needed to prepare Cookies:
  1. Take 2 cup maida/All purpose flour
  2. Take 1/2 cup oil or ghee
  3. You need 1 cup powdered sugar
  4. Use 1 tsp baking powder
  5. Get 2 green cardamoms powdered
  6. You need As needed Chopped almonds for topping
  7. Get 1 drop strawberry flavour essence
  8. Take 1 spoon milk
Instructions to make Cookies:
  1. In a large bowl add oil sugar, and mix till fluffy, then add flour and crumble with your fingers to make a bread crumb like mixture
  2. Add powdered cardamoms and milk, then using gentle pressure, mix well for few minutes until if forms a soft dough
  3. Just before baking preheat oven 180 degrees Centigrade
  4. Now divide the dough into 2 parts, to one part, add strawberry essence and mix well, leave the 2nd part of dough plain
  5. Now make small 3 round balls of each colours, place them next to each other, now gently press from the outer edge to bring all the balls together to the center, make sure it is evenly pressed from all sides, keep pressing to join all the balls
  6. Now, with gentle hands press over the top ever so lightly and at the same time, rotate like you would make balls, keep checking and continue until you get a beautiful spiral design
  7. Place these on the baking try and presse middle portion a little and place chopped almonds
  8. Now bake for 20 to 25 minutes in 180 degrees Centigrade until fluffy and light golden on the bottom or a toothpick comes out clean
  9. Remove from oven and let cool on pan for a couple of minutes, cool completely and enjoy
