- Provide 1 bunch Methi leaves
- Take 2 Tbsp Jawar Flour
- Prepare 3 Tbsp Bajra Flour
- You need 1 Tbsp yogurt
- Get 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- You need 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- You need Pinch Baking Soda
- Use as per taste Salt
- Take 1/2 tsp Sesame seeds
- Provide 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Use as required Oil to fry
- You need as required Coriander leaves to garnish
- You need As required Grated coconut to garnish
Instructions to make Jowar-Methi Muthiya:
- In a bowl add Jowar flour, Bajra flour, baking soda, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and yogurt. Mix well
- Add water to make a soft dough.
- Roll it and make 1-2 balls. Grease Idli tray and pour the mix. Steam for 20 mins. Cool completely
- Break into 1” roundrels
- In a pan heat oil and add mustard seed and sesame seed. Fry the Balls until golden in colour. About 7-8 mins in low heat
- Plate and garnish with grated coconut and chopped coriander and enjoy
