The ingredients needed to cook Bhalle ka Raita:
- Get 1/2 cup udad dali
- Prepare 1/4 cup moong dhuli
- Use 1 tsp Baking soda
- Get 1 tsp Jeera powder
- Use to taste Salt
- Prepare 1 tsp Ajwain for taste
- Take 1 tsp Garam masala
Steps to make Bhalle ka Raita:
- Soak the 2 dals overnight for better results. Else soak them in warm water for 2 3hours.
- Strain the water and grind the dal. It should be a thick batter.
- Add salt, ajwain, garam masala and baking soda and give a good stir in one direction with cut and fold.method
- Keep it aside for 30mints
- Take oil in pan.
- Add small balls from the batter to oil either with hand or spoon.
- Fry them at medium flame till golden brown
- Boil a pan full of water and drop the bhalle in it. They will get soft.
- After about 20mints, transfer them in a bowl of iced water and keep them in it for 30mints
- Blend curd in mixer.
- Squeeze the bhalle and drop in the blended curd.
- Garnish with jeera powder and chilli powder.
- U can also add tamarind chutney for taste.
- Serve chilled
