The ingredients needed to prepare Radish Chutney:
- Get 1 Radish(medium)
- Get 2 Tomatoes (small)
- Use 1 Onion (medium)
- Provide 5 Red chillies
- Provide 1 tbsp urad dhal
- Get 1 inch tamarind
- Provide leaves Few Mint
- Take 2 tbsp grated coconut
- Provide 2 gloves garlic
- Provide 1 tbsp oil
- Get as required Salt
- Get as required Water
Steps to make Radish Chutney:
- To a pan add 1 tsp oil and fry urad dhal, once it's half fried add the red chillies and fry till urad dhal is golden brown. Once done transfer the contents to a bowl.
- To the same pan add garlic,onion,tomato,tamarind and grated radish.Fry till the raw smell of radish goes off.
- Add few mint leaves and grated coconut to the pan and give a quick stir. Switch off the flame.
- Once the contents are cooled transfer it to a blender jar except urad dhal. add salt to taste and grind the contents to a coarse paste without adding water.
- Now add the fried urad dhal and pulse the blender for few more times till it becomes a smooth paste.Add water if required. Now the radish chutney is ready.
