- Take 1/2 cup rice
- Take 1/4 cup toovar dal
- Get Pinch haldi
- Use as per taste Salt
- Provide as required Water for consistency
- Provide 1 chopped potato

- Prepare 3 tbsp oil
- Use 1 sliced onion
- You need 2 tomato puree
- Get 2 tbsp chopped cabbage
- Prepare 2 tbsp chopped carrot
- Use 3-4 tbsp chopped capsicum

- Get 3-4 tbsp pav bhaji masala
- Get 1 tbsp red chilli powder

- In a cooker add washed and soaked rice & dal salt, haldi and water cook it for 3 whistles.
- In a bottom vessel pan add oil as oil heats add jeera then add potato cook it for 2 mins till it gets soft then add onion saute it for 2 mins then add all the above vegetables cook them till it gets soft then add tomato puree cook it for 5min then add all dry masala adjust salt according to your taste(don't forget salt is added in khichdi already)
- Then add cooked khichdi mix them together adjust water according to the consistency cook it for 5-10 mins then add lemon juice and coriander leaves. Turn of the gas. Garnish it with butter, coriander leaves and onion slice serve hot.
