- Wash and soak the Chana dal for 2 hours.
- Keep 3-4 tsp of dal aside and then grind the remaining dal with ginger, garlic and chilli.
- Mix the remaining dal along with the methi leaves, chopped onion, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and cumin seeds.
- Heat a Kadai with oil and then drop little amount of batter with your hand to make the pakodas.
- Fry till they become golden brown in colour and then switch off the flame.
