  1. Quarter potatoes and steam or boil them.Mash when cool.Add red chilli powder,garam masala,salt and sugar to taste,ginger paste and mash well.Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok and fry finely chopped onion.When transparent,add chopped green chillies and lightly fry.Then add the mashed potato and chopped coriander and fry golden brown.Set aside to cool.
  2. Make a light batter with cornflour and maida. Make small balls out of the fried mashed potato.Dip the balls in batter and roll in bread crumbs.
  3. Set aside in fridge for an hour.Heat oil and fry balls in batches.Serve with hot and sweet tomato sauce.
