- Use 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)
- Get 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
- Prepare 2 cups Water
Instructions to make Aaloo Masala puri:
- Mix all the ingredients of puri section and knead it into a stiff dough.
- Heat little oil in a pan and add green chillies, cumin seeda and hing.
- Now add chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste and salt.
- Cook onion on medium flame until it becomes transparent.
- Now add tomatoes and add all the masalas.
- Keep cooking by continuously stirring until the tomato is completely cooked. Note: Tomato starts leaving oil is the sign it is cooked.
- Chop the boiled potato into big pieces or in any way it suits you. Mash 1 of the boiled potato completely
- Now add both the chopped and the mashed potato to the pan and mix
- Now add 2 cups of water and mix well.. Add little more of salt and let it to boil for about 7-8 minutes on medium flame.
- Till then heat oil in a pan for frying puri.
- Divide the dough into small parts.
- Roll all the parts and fry the puri when oil is hot.
- And it's ready to be served.
