- Roast rawa,stir often while roasting the rava
- In a pan,heat 2 tbsp gheeor oil,add 1tsp mustard seeds
- Now add cumin seeds along with chanadal and 1tsp urad dal.
- Fry till they begin to brown a bit.add cashews.
- Now add finely chopped onions.salute the onions.
- Add the chopped green chillies,ginger,curry leaves.salute for a min.
- Add water to the mixture
- Add salt as required
- Bring water to boil.add rava and stir immediately
- Cover and allow the rava upma tp steam for 2 min on the low flame
- Last 2tbsp chopped coriander leaves
