  9. You need 3-4 pieces chopped dates
  10. Use 5-6 small pieces dried mango sheet(aam paapad)
  11. Use 6-8 raisins
  12. Provide 5-6 cashews
Steps to make Sweet Tomato Chutney:
  1. Heat oil in a wok and add dried red chilli and paanch phoron seeds
  2. Once the seeds to splutter,add the chopped tomatoes and salt
  3. Mix well and cook covered till tomatoes turn slightly mushy
  4. Now reduce heat and add the tamarind/ citric acid,sugar and turmeric powder
  5. Now cover and cook well until tomatoes soften completely (you will see the skin peel off)
  6. Add the dates,mango sheets, raisins and cashews
  7. Mix well and let simmer on low heat until the mango sheet and dates absorb the flavours and soften as well
  8. Once done,take off heat and transfer into a serving bowl
  9. Serve warm/chilled accompanied by piping hot khichudi(khichdi). Enjoy!
