- Provide 500 gm chicken

- You need 1 onion chopped finely

- Take 2 cardamoms
- You need 1 tsp tandoori chicken masala

- Use 2 tbsp curd
- Prepare 2 tbsp fresh tomato puree
- You need 1 green chilli paste
- Provide To taste salt
- You need 1 pinch sugar
- Use 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Use 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- Get 1/4 tsp turmeric
- Get 1 tbsp chopped coriander
Instructions to make Dhaba Style Masala Chicken Curry:
- Marinate chicken with lemon juice and little salt for 1 hour.Meanwhile make a paste of 1 onion alongwith cashewnuts and melon seeds/charmagaz.Also add chopped tomato,curd, ginger and green chilli and make a paste.
- Heat oil and butter or ghee in a pan.Fry 1 finely chopped onion golden brown and set aside.Sprinkle whole garam masala and lightly fry the chicken.Add the ground paste to the chicken and toss.Add other dry masalas,salt and 1 pinch sugar.Toss all with chicken and add a cup of water approximately. Add crushed kasoori methi.Cook on low flame till chicken is done and masala coats chicken.
- Garnish with chopped coriander,nuts and malai. Serve hot with naan or any Indian flat breads or pulao.
