The ingredients needed to prepare Rava Kesari:
- You need 1 cup Semolina
- Provide 1/2 cup Pure ghee
- Take 3/4 cup Sugar
- Take 150 ml Milk
- Use 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
- Get 2 tbsp kaju
- Provide 1 tbsp Sliced Almond
- You need 5-6 Saffron threads
- Use 1 drop Yellow / orange food colour
Instructions to make Rava Kesari:
- Heat ghee in a Kadhai, add cashues in it,fry it and remove it from the ghee and keep it a side.
- Add semolina in same Kadhai and stir it continuesly.. Till it changes it's colour light golden.
- Pour hot milk in it stir fastly. When milk totally absorbed add sugar, cardamom pwder,drop of a food colour and Kesar in it.
- When sugar melts and semolina turns in a thick Consistancy.. Add dry fruits in it.
- Serve it hot.
