- Take 1 cup chana dal
- Get 3 tbsp urad dal
- Get 3 tbsp poha
- Prepare 2 tsp oil
- Take 1 tsp salt

- Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

- Get 1 lemon juice
- You need 1 tsp black sesame seeds

Instructions to make Surti locho:
- Bhuna masala powder : roast on low flame 2 tbsp coriander, 2 tbsp cumin seeds and 2 red chillies. Let it cool and grind to a fine powder.. keep in an airtight container.
- Grind chana dal, urad dal and poha together to make a coarse paste. Then take out in a big bowl.. add salt, 1/2tsp bhuna masala powder, hing, ginger and green chilli paste and turmeric powder… mix well.. add a little water if required… the batter should be of dhokla batter consistency…
- Prepare a steamer for steaming surti locho… to the batter bowl add eno and mix lightly till it's fluffy… then pour in a greased container and keep in the steamer for steaming for 20 - 25 mins..check with knife or toothpick.
- Plating: Take a spoonful of surti locho and place on a plate… drizzle some lemon juice, green chutney, chopped coriander, bhuna masala, toasted black sesame seeds and black salt… serve hot
