- Prepare 1/3 cup cornflour
- Provide 1 cup powdered sugar
- Prepare 1 1/3 cup water
- Get 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Take 1/8 tsp elaichi (cardamom)powder
- Take 1 pinch salt
- Take 1/8 tsp yellow food colour
- You need 1 drop green food colour
- You need 8-10 pistachios
- Provide 8-10 almonds
- Get 5-6 cashew nuts

- You need 1 tbsp magaz(melon seeds)
- Take 1 tsp kewra water
- Provide 2 tsp desi ghee
Instructions to make Bombay Halwa:
- Roast the almonds, pistachios and cashews in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. Cool and roughly chop the nuts.
- In a bowl take the nutmeg powder, elaichi powder, salt, kesar, cornflour, sugar powder and food colour. Give it a good mix. Next add the kewra and water and mix well.
- Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Remove and whisk well. Again microwave it for 3 minutes and whisk well.
- Add the magaz and give it a good mix. Microwave for 2 minutes. Add the chopped nuts and desi ghee and mix well.
- Microwave again for 4 minutes. Remove and give it a good mix.
- Transfer to a dish greased with some ghee and spread evenly. Let the halwa cool down and cut into bite sized pieces. Enjoy!
