  1. Wash rice and Soak in water about 1/2 hour. Dry roast all the spices (except chilli) and make a fine paste. Chop onions
  2. In a kadhai heatup the oil and put chopped onion in it, when onions turn light brown put 4 cloves 4 cardamom and 2 bay leaves into it after a while put in the chicken and stir. Add ginger garlic paste stir for a minute then add chilli powder and salt.Keep cooking it about 5 minutes on low to medium flame. Add warm milk Then add kewra and meetha itr.
  3. In a big bhagona take about 3 liter water add 2 cloves 2 caramom a cinnamon stick two bay leaves and salt. Boil it. Drain the water from the soaked rice and put them into the boiling water and stir. Cook rice about 70% and then strain them properly. Add cooked chicken in rice as layers. First some rice then chicken and then again rice. Mix the color separately in milk or water and spread it on the rice with the help of spoon. Spread lemon juice on the top.
  4. Cover it with the lid and put some thing heavy upon it. Keep it on the low flame for 15 minutes. Chicken dum biryani is ready. Mix it before serve. Serve it with raita.
