- Take 100 gms gram flour

Steps to make Sweet Boondi:
- Prepare Sugar Syrup of 1 string consistency by heating water, sugar and saffron on a medium flame.
- Stir in the sugar syrup till it melts.Keep aside.Switch off the gas.
- For Boondi Batter: In a bowl mix gram flour, 1 tbsp ghee Pinch lemon yellow colour and water to make a thick batter.Batter should be free flowing consistency.
- In a kadhai heat the ghee for frying.Place a jara (perforated spoon) on the top of the kadhai and slowly pour the batter letting it drip through the holes.Dont use your hands else the Boondi will not be round in shape.
- Every time you pour the batter after that clean the jara. Remove the jara and allow the Boondi to fry till it is firm and yellow in colour.
- Remove and immerse the Boondi in the sugar syrup. Repeat the process till the batter is finished.The Boondi will absorb the sugar syrup.
- Garnish with chopped nuts and elachi powder.
