- Soak red gram overnight. Wash in the morning and add little water and salt and pressure cook it. Once cool remove water and grind it coarsely.

- Take 2 tbs oil in a pan, add ginger chilli paste, sesame seeds and dry coconut and sauté for 1 minute. Add grounded red gram and garam masala and sauté for 4-5 minutes.Let the mixture cool.
