- In a mixing bowl add curd and gram flour. Beat well. Now mix salt, turmeric powder, ajwain and water and mix well. Grind onion, ginger garlic and tomato. Heat a wok. Add cooking oil and put cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter add asafoetida, coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds and sauté for 1 minute. Add onion Tomato paste and sauté till oil leaves the karahi.
