The ingredients needed to cook Ton-ney:
- Take 1 cup semolina
- Take 3 eggs
- Get 1 pinch Saffron food colour
- Take 1/2 cup Chicken/mutton (cooked and shredded)
- Prepare Water (enough to mix ingredients)
- Take Oil for shallow fry
- Prepare Salt as required

- Get 1 small onion (sliced)
- Use 1 tbsp oil
- Get 2 chillies (chopped)

- Take 1/2 cup crushed coconut
Instructions to make Ton-ney:
- Heat a tbsp of oil in a frying pan.. put curry leaves and chillies.. fry it till crisp.
- Add sliced onion and saute well.. put little salt and fry it till transparent.
- Put crushed coconut and fry it just for 2 mins.
- Take out the pan from stove..
- Put in chicken/mutton, semolina and eggs.. mix very well.. Add a pinch of saffron colour. And add little water.. the consistency of batter should be thick. Add salt (if required).
- Keep frying pan on a stove, heat it well. Spread the mixture/ batter and put a tsp of oil around. Fry on both side till it's crispy at edges..
- Serve hot
