- Provide 1 cup powdered oats
- Take 1/2 cup powdered cornflakes
- Use 1/4 cup suji/semolina
- Prepare 3 Tb rice flour

- Take 2 green chillies chopped
- Take 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Take 1/2 tsp black peppercorns
- Prepare 1/2 tsp cumin/jeera
- Use 8-10 curry leaves

- Mix powdered oats, cornflakes, rice flour, suji and salt together.
- Add curd and pour warm water to this mixture slowly and stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Batter should be of pouring consistency, neither too runny nor too thick.
- In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds. When they begin to crackle add cumin seeds, peppercorns, green chillies and curry leaves. When they crackle pour this into the batter from step 2 and mix.
- Keep this batter aside for 1/2 hr. Adjust the consistency with water if batter thickens.
- Heat the non stick tawa on high flame. Reduce the flame to medium and grease the tawa with little oil. Pour a cup of batter in the centre and spread evenly on the tawa in circular motion.
