- Prepare 4 bowls rice(any)if you have grinder use ukda rice
- Take 1 bowl urad dal
- Prepare 1 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds
- Provide 1 bowl Sambar_ turdal
- Use All veggies of sambar
- Get Tamarind pulp
- You need Turmeric,red chilli powder
- Use Salt, sambar masala(i have used homemade) any brand
- Get Chutney_ grated coconut, green chilli,coriander,cumin seeds
- Take Salt, lemon juice
Steps to make Idli sambar:
- Soak rice and urad dal for atleast 4 hours separately add some fenugreek seeds
- Grind mixture and ferment it overnight by adding salt
- Grease idli stand with little oil and pour batter in mould
- Steam for 15 min.let it cool
- Sambar_ cook tur dal.cut all veggies in cubes(onion,potato,pumpkin,brinjal,drumstick)
- Heat oil in kadai put fenugreek seeds,curry leaves.add veggies one by one add turmeric,red chilli powder, sambar masala let it boil till veggies cooked
- Add cooked turdal salt, tamarind pulp cook for 5 more mins.
- Chutney grind all ingredients.
- Serve hot idli with sambar and chutney
