- Provide 1 cup Masoor dal
- Get 1 Bay leaves
- Provide 1 Green cardamom
- Get 1/2 spoon Cumin seeds

- Use 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Get 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder

Steps to make Gravy with Masoor Dal ka Pakoda:
- Soak 1 cup masoor dal overnight.
- In morning, drain water from dal.
- Add dal in a mixer and grind with very little water to make a fine paste.
- Take this dal batter, half chopped onion, 1 chopped green chilli, salt to taste in a bowl.
- Mix everything very well.
- Take 1 tomato, half chopped onion, 6 - 7 cloves of garlic, 1 inch ginger and water in a mixer and make a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and drop spoonfulls of the batter in the oil.
- Deep fry pokode till golden brown and crisp.
- Remove them on paper tissues to remove excess oil.
- Add 1 bay leaf, 1 green cardamom, half spoon cumin seeds on same oil.
- Add 1 chopped onion and fry them.
- Now add prepared paste and saute for 4 minutes.
- Add half spoon turmeric powder, 1 spoon cumin powder, half spoon coriander powder, half spoon red chilli powder and saute for 1 minute.
- Now add water and salt to taste.
- Add all pokode and boil them properly.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
