The ingredients needed to prepare Sambar:
- Get 250 gm arhar daal
- Use 1 big patoto
- Take 1/2 big gourd
- Take 1 onion cut in to small pieces
- You need 1 tomato
- Prepare 2 Green chilli
- Use 1 tsp oil
- Prepare 1 tsp salt
- Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Use 2 tsp dry mango powder
- Prepare 2 tsp mustard seeds
- You need To taste imli (tamarind) water
Steps to make Sambar:
- Soak daal for 2 hours.
- Peel potato and gourd now grated it take a pressure cooker now add daal and granted vegetables add 1 spoone salt and 1 spoone turmeric powder and 2 glass water and cover the lid.
- Boil it for 35 minutes.
- Now take a pan heat and add oil and heat it add mustard seed add onion and tomato, add one spoone salt, red chilli powder and dry mango powder and imli powder.
- Add it in the boil vegetables cooker and cover the lid cook it for 10 minutes.
- Now sambar is ready.
