The ingredients needed to prepare Sambar:
  1. Get 250 gm arhar daal
  2. Use 1 big patoto
  3. Take 1/2 big gourd
  4. Take 1 onion cut in to small pieces
  5. You need 1 tomato
  6. Prepare 2 Green chilli
  7. Use 1 tsp oil
  8. Prepare 1 tsp salt
  9. Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. Use 2 tsp dry mango powder
  11. Prepare 2 tsp mustard seeds
  12. You need To taste imli (tamarind) water
Steps to make Sambar:
  1. Soak daal for 2 hours.
  2. Peel potato and gourd now grated it take a pressure cooker now add daal and granted vegetables add 1 spoone salt and 1 spoone turmeric powder and 2 glass water and cover the lid.
  3. Boil it for 35 minutes.
  4. Now take a pan heat and add oil and heat it add mustard seed add onion and tomato, add one spoone salt, red chilli powder and dry mango powder and imli powder.
  5. Add it in the boil vegetables cooker and cover the lid cook it for 10 minutes.
  6. Now sambar is ready.
