  1. Prepare 250 gm Baisun (gram flour)
  2. Take 500 gm Yogurt
  3. Take 2 medium & 1 small Onions Finely chopped
  4. Use Green chillies
  5. Provide Salt
  6. You need 1 tbsp Red chillies pwd
  7. Prepare 1 tbsp crushed coriander seeds
  8. Get 1/4 tsp soda
  9. Provide 2 tbsp dry coriander leaves
  10. Provide 2 cloves garlic
  11. Take 2 pinch cumin seeds
  12. Get 200 ml Oil
Steps to make Dahi Phulkiyan / Simple Phulkiyan:
  1. For Phulkiyan: Take baisun in a big bowl, now add water and mix it well to make fine paste.
  2. Now add salt, red chillies pwd, soda, crushed coriander seeds, onions and fry coriander leaves. Mix it well.
  3. Take 3-4 tbsp oil in a fry pan and shallow fry Phulkiyan in a low to medium flame. You can add oil 1-2 tbsp oil in every batch of frying. Put fried Phulkiyan in a separate plate.
  4. For Yogurt: Add salt, roasted cumin pwd, green chillies & garlic paste in yogurt. Mix it well. Now add a glass of water and mix it well.
  5. Now add fried Phulkiyan in yogurt and slightly mix it.
  6. At last pour 3 tbsp oil in a fry pan, add 2 pinch cumin seeds and 4 round red chillies. Then bhangar the dahi Phulkiyan.
  7. You can eat dahi Phulkiyan with roti/ zeera rice.
  8. You can also eat only Phulkiyan with chutneys and roti/rice.
  9. You can eat both of them in lunch/ dinner.
