The ingredients needed to make Dahi Wali Arbi:
- Take 10-12 pcs arbi
- Take 1 full garlic
- Provide 1 onion
- Take 1 tsp ajwain
- Use 500 gm curd (if possible use sour curd)
- Provide 1/2 tsp turmeric
- You need Red chilli powder as per taste
- Get Salt as per taste
- Use 2 tsp oil
Steps to make Dahi Wali Arbi:
- First nicely wash and boil arbi. Keep it in cooker for 2 whistle. (one whistle on high flame and one whistle on low flame)
- Now in jar take peeled garlic and onion. Make smooth paste.
- Now in pan add oil and put ajwain. And then immediately add garlic and onion paste. And keep mixing it. Till it becomes brown.
- Now add turmeric, salt & red chilli powder and mix add half cup of water. Now add arbi pcs and mix them. Leave for 2 minute.
- Now add curd and keep stirring it else curd will get curdles. Boil for almost 10 minutes. Make sure flame is slow. (If u want add water as per your desired consistency)
- In my house we prefer rice with this curry. Garnish with green garlic and enjoy with Dahi Wali Arbi with rice or chapati!!!
