- Firstly cut jackfruit in about 3" Cubes. And boil it. Keep aside.now Take all the ingredients of onions paste section and grind it. Keep aside.
- Now add oil in a wok and heat it. When oil is sufficiently heated up add finely sliced onions and saute till translucent. At this point addJackfruit and stir fry it till pinkish. Keep aside.
- In the same wok with the left over oil add methi dana. It will start cracking immediately. Add onions paste. Add all the spices and saute till raw aroma disappears and oil starts to separate.Add water if required.
- Add kathal and cook on low flame for about 15 min. Transfer to serving bowl and serve with steamed rice.
