- Take 2 . Water - as required
- Take 3 . Salt - as needed

Instructions to make Puttu (Steamed rice flour cake):
- Take puttu flour in mixing bowl. Add salt as required. Sprinkle water little by little and and bring to crumble stage. Use two hands to do this.
- Take puttu maker add water in the bottom vessel and let it boil unto bubbling stage. Now take the top part add the flour bottom layer, add grated coconut, add again flour, again coconut. Repeat this until top of the vessel. Close with lid.
- Place this over the boiling vessel. I attached the picture how it looks. When you see the steam starts coming from the top hole.
- Switch off the flame, take the wide plate slowly push the puttu outside from the bottom. You can serve this with ghee, grated coconut and sugar. I strongly recommend palm jaggery. Putti podi is coarsely ground rice flour. You can even use store brought rice flour too. Just roast the rice flour lightly till you see steam coming from it before making puttu. I selected white rice puttu powder and ragi puttu powder. I slowly started preparing the chicken, cut the veggies, grated coconut and kept the other ingredients ready.
