The ingredients needed to cook Tawa pulao:
- Use 3big cups boiled rice
- Provide 2 medium onions chopped
- Provide 2 medium capsicum chopped
- You need 5 medium tomatoes in puree(raw)
- Get 1/4 cup green peas
- Get 2 medium potatoes diced
- Get 2 tbsp pav Bhaji masala
- You need 2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- Provide 1 tbsp regular red chilli powder
- Use 2 tbsp garlic paste
- Provide 2 tbsp oil
- Prepare 2 tbsp butter
- Use 1 tsp cumin powder
- You need 1/4cup finely chopped coriander
Instructions to make Tawa pulao:
- In a kadhai take oil & butter, switch on the gas & once butter melts add potatoes &onions and cook them for 7-10 minutes minutes on medium flame.
- Then add capsicum & green peas and again cook the veggies for another 5-7 minutes.
- Meanwhile boil the rice & keep ready, add 1/4tsp of turmeric while boiling rice.
- Now add garlic paste & salt to the veggies and cook them for another 2 minutes.
- Then add red chilli powder, pav Bhaji masala, Kashmiri red chilli powder and mix well cook this for 5 minutes.
- Then add the tomato puree and mix well cook everything well for 10-12 minutes till oil releases.
- Then add salt, jeera powder & mix well then add boiled rice and mix well. Then add coriander mix well.
- Cook the rice for another 8-10 minutes on low flame and make sure everything is well incorporated. Serve the pulao hot with some curd/red chutney
