- Take 1 cup maida/All -purpose flour

- Mix curd and ghee well. Add maida, baking soda and baking powder. Make a soft dough. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes in a covered bowl.
- By the time make sugar syrup by adding sugar and water in a pan on medium flame. Simmer and mix it for 10 minutes. Add lemon juice in it.
- Make small balls from dough. Make a hole in mid of the balls with your finger. Make it donut shaped. Deep fry it in a pan.
- Add the badis in sugar syrup. Turn it in every 2 minutes for 5-10 minutes. Garnish it with chopped almond.
