  1. Heat oil in Pot. Add cumin seeds. Cook 1 minute. Add Onion, Garlic, Tomatoes. Add 1 cup water. Cook 10 minutes.
  2. Add Masala. Add Ginger. Take out soaked beans, discard water, add beans to the pot. Add Salt. Add about 3 cups of water. Bring everything to Boil. Reduce heat to medium low. Cook for 90 minutes - until beans are fork tender. Add 1 cup water at a time, as needed - don't let it dry and don't add too much water.
  3. Add Cumin and Corriander powder, green chillies and cilantro. Top with 1 TB Butter. Let it rest. Serve when ready over rice.
