- Prepare 1 tbsp chana dal
- Take 1 tbsp white til( sesame seeds)
- Use 1 tbsp oil
- Prepare 1 tsp Jeera/ cumin seeds

- Get 1 Onion (roughly chopped
- Take 1 tsp ginger chopped
- Take 1 tsp green chillies chopped
- Get 1 tsp Tamarind
- Use 1 cup coriander leaves
- Take 4 large tomatoes chopped
- Prepare To taste Salt
- Use 1 tsp lal mirchi ( red chilli)powder
- Get 1 tsp haldi( Turmeric powder)
- Provide For tadka
- Get 1 tsp oil
- Take 1 tsp rai/ mustard seeds
- Provide 1 tsp jeera/ cumin seeds
- Prepare 1 tsp urad dal
- You need 1 tsp chana dal
- Prepare 1 whole dry red chilli
- Provide as needed curry leaves
Steps to make Hydrabadi Chutney:
- Take pan and dry roast til and chana dal. Take out in dish and let it cool.
- Now in same pan heat oil.
- Put jeera and let it splutter. Add garlic cloves. Saute it.
- Now put onions. Cook for a min. Add ginger, chilli and tamarind. Mix well.
- Now add coriander leaves. Cook for a min and add tomatoes. Mix well.
- Add all dry spices. Add half cup of water.
- Mix well. Cover and cook for 10 mins on slow flame.
- Keep aside and let it cool.
- Now in a mixer jar take roasted chana dal and til.
- Grind it to make powder.
- Now add cooked tomatoes in this powder.
- Blend it and make smooth paste.
- Now for tadka heat oil.
- Add rai and let it splutter.
- Add jeera, chana dal and Urad dal.
- Roast properly. Add curry leaves and red chilli.
- Now add chutney on tadka and mix well.
- Delicious chutney is ready.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
